The Many Shades of Midnight nominated in the Indie Ink Awards

I received a lovely, unexpected email a couple of weeks ago letting me know that The Many Shades of Midnight has been nominated in the 2024 Indie Ink Awards for Best Friendship and Side Character MVP.

The Indie Ink Awards celebrate books from small presses, self-published authors, and marginalised authors, and books are nominated by readers - making a nomination extra special. There are two categories of awards: ‘Best in’ and ‘Writing the future we need’, which focuses on showcasing exceptional inclusion and diversity.

The nomination phase is over and voting is now open for readers to choose their favourites. The top ten books in each category will make it through to the final stage.

You can vote here for your favourite books, and even if you don’t want to vote, you should definitely check out the nominated books, because there are some real gems here waiting to be discovered.
